Creating the Conditions
for Self-Sufficiency

Shared Belief in Human Potential

"We work to break the cycle of poverty by addressing the three conditions every family needs to thrive: a stable home, the tools to plan for the future, and the economic power to build it."

Three Pillars. One Mission.

Stability. Agency. Opportunity. Each pillar reinforces the others — because lasting change requires addressing all three at once.

Homelessness Prevention

Stability

Housing is the foundation everything else is built on. We keep families housed through emergency rental assistance, legal advocacy, and rapid-response case management — addressing root causes before crisis strikes.

Family Planning

Agency

Every child deserves to be born into a family that is prepared, supported, and equipped to give them their best start. We surround Georgia mothers and families with parenting education, maternal healthcare navigation, and early childhood resources — because strong families build strong communities.

Economic Empowerment

Opportunity

Financial independence changes everything. From job-skills training and micro-grants to financial literacy workshops, we equip individuals with the knowledge and capital to build lasting prosperity on their own terms.

How We Create Lasting Change

We believe sustainable change is built through trust, partnership, and a deep respect for the communities we serve.

01

Listen First

We enter every community as learners — gathering perspectives from residents, families, and local organizations to understand needs from the inside out.

02

Build Partnerships

We don't work alone. By partnering with local agencies, government bodies, and civic leaders, we amplify impact and avoid duplication of effort.

03

Deploy Resources

Grants, direct services, and capacity-building investments are delivered with urgency and accountability — reaching people when they need it most.

04

Measure & Improve

We track outcomes rigorously, publish transparent reports, and continuously improve based on what the data — and our communities — tell us.

Rooted in Georgia.
Committed to Georgians.

Georgia is a state of extraordinary promise — and extraordinary need. Despite its economic growth, hundreds of thousands of Georgians remain one unexpected expense away from housing instability, and too many families lack access to the planning resources and economic tools that could change their trajectory.

The Hollingsworth Foundation was founded here, is led by people from here, and is accountable to the communities we serve across the state. From metro Atlanta to rural Georgia, our programs meet families where they are.
